             Book Drives Inc  will help your campus to collect and recycle textbooks, library book discards, professor textbooks, leisure books and a host of electronics devices.  End of semester book drives for books no longer purchased by your bookstore are a key to reducing waste and raising funds for your campus.  You may recognize book drives taking place on your campus now but don't be fooled.  Book Drives Inc is the only sponsor of the ACUPCC.   Now its time for you to take control of those collections so that they are better managed, so that your campus receives the money raised from those drives and  your campus can achieve its environmental goals.  If need be we can assist your campus groups already conducting drives for other companies to seamless implement our program so that you can achieve your commitment goals.

            Book Drives Inc will provide you with the collection and shipping boxes necessary to collect books from the various locations around your campus year round and at buyback.  Posters can also be provided at your request to help you advertise the recycling initiative on your campus.  Freight to our warehouse is provided free of charge just like the rest of our program.

            All books that can be sold will be done so through a multitude of marketplaces worldwide.  As the books are sold, 22% of the gross sale price will be returned to your campus to help you accomplish your climate commitment goals.  This percentage is nearly 4 times more then any other company worldwide.   

            For each item sold Book Drives Inc will fund the planting of at least one tree through Trees For The Futures Tree Pals program.  Tree Pals will not only plant trees but also prepare a generation of young people to continue taking action to protect their environment for future generations.  Each tree is estimated to remove 50 pounds of CO per year!  www.treepals.org/

           Your campus can also collect CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray, Video games, cell phones, laptop computers, MP3 players, Gaming consoles and PDAs.  Electronic devices need not be in working order.  All items when sold return 22% of the gross sale price and a tree is planted in your schools name.  All of your items may not be saleable.  In cases where we cannot sell an item it is recycled 100%.   

 

          These items as well as books can be collected during end of year dorm cleanouts and from professors as well.  You can set up collection bins all over campus for year round recycling.

 

          Participation in the program is really this easy.  Simply contact us for collection boxes, collect the items, ship them in boxes provided by us and we will send you checks as your items sell.  the program is 100% free to your campus.
